Aside from being a wildly popular retreat from our day to day lives, yoga is often associated with many health benefits—enhanced fitness, soothing tension in the body and mind, and a positive effect on cardiovascular risk factors to name a few. In this session we will talk about different types of yoga and pranayama (breathwork) practices that can help improve our lives. Beginner level demonstrations for both movement and breath practices will be given, with the option to try them yourself!
